William Joseph Butler

William Joseph "Joey" Butler was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on October 2, 1967. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with High Honors from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1989. He then attended law school at the George C. Taylor Law Center, also at UTK, where he was a member of the evidence Moot Court Team that placed 3rd in national competition in 1992. Mr. Butler received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and was admitted to the State Bar later that year. Mr. Butler has also been admitted to the Federal Bar in the Middle and Eastern districts of Tennessee. His current areas of practice include: Workers' Compensation, Appellate Litigation, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Motor Vehicle Collisions, Employment and Disability Discrimination, and Probate Law. With nearly 13 years of litigation experience, Mr. Butler is also a member of the Tennessee Association for Justice and the Order of Barristers.
